Deepening Our Content and SEO Skills with Stone Temple Consulting

Today, Perficient announced that it has acquired Stone Temple Consulting, Inc.,  a Boston-based $9 million annual revenue digital marketing agency. Stone Temple has an incredible reputation for delivering excellent search engine optimization and content marketing solutions.

Perficient Digital helps many of our clients with digital marketing, content marketing, search engine optimization (SEO) and content services. By acquiring Stone Temple, we are broadening and deepening our ability to help clients achieve this goal, enabling them to succeed, grow and beat their competition.

This news is particularly timely as brands are prioritizing content services and SEO more than ever before. According to Adobe’s “2018 Digital Trends” report, the top strategic priority for organizations in 2018 is content and experience management. Companies are focused on improving the customer experience in every way possible, and most will focus on enhancing content delivered to customers in order to achieve this goal.

In the study, brand marketers chose “creating compelling content for digital experiences” as their 2nd “most exciting opportunity” in 2018, and as the single “most important priority” to address this year.

According to Adobe’s “2018 Digital Trends” report, the top strategic priority for organizations in 2018 is “content and experience management (Figure 7), encapsulating the importance of harnessing content and media assets as effectively as possible to ensure the most effective interactions with customers and prospects.”

And Adobe says this should not come as a surprise:

“Content is the lifeblood of marketing activities across a whole host of different touchpoints on owned and third-party digital properties, from website and advertising copy through to email marketing and social media activities. It is the fuel that drives digital experiences without which most businesses would eventually grind to a halt.”

 

Also, according to Forrester’s “State of Retailing Online 2018” report, “SEO improvements” is the #1 initiative that retailers plan to prioritize in 2018.
